I was originally on the waitlist for this schoolSep 25 2010Political Science
I was originally on the waitlist for this school which is ridiculous considering I went to a very challenging high school and had a 3.98 GPA. I was involved in many extracurricular activities and help two leadership positions. I was shocked to learn that I had not immediately been admitted into the school and the only reason I can think of for this is that I only received a 28 on my ACT. But I am pretty sure that is the average if not above average score here.

Take honors and AP classes when you can thatMay 17 2010Communications
Take honors and AP classes when you can; that always looks good. Have at least one leadership position that you can talk about. You don't have to get teacher recommendations, but you do have an essay. Make sure your writing is a genuine representation of yourself. Also, include specific reasons why you want to attend Elon. Overall, it's a pretty easy application process.
